      The article discusses the financial literacy, or capability, of U.S. disabled adult beneficiaries of the U.S. Social Security Administration's (SSA's) program for people with disabilities. The role that social workers play in assisting adults with disabilities, including assisting in shopping and preparing meals, is discussed.
