    • Abstract:
The article presents a study on regions based on social structure relative to diffusionism. Three regions were formed, the Middle Old World, Canada West and Eurasian-Circumpolar. Ethnic groups populating these three regions belong to three linguistic macrofamilies: Nostratic, Afrisian and Sino-Caucasian. These three macrofamilies belong to a single megafamily, suggested as Paleolithic. However, the name seems misleading since at the end of Upper Palaeolithic there would have been other languages.
