    • Abstract:
The article discusses constitutional and political discourse on race. It argues that equal protection doctrine has adopted a narrow and constitutionally problematic definition of race as physical trait. The conception of race in corporation-like terms is explored. The implications of analyzing race in historical-linguistic context are discussed.
